“YOLO” Gets Another Student In Trouble – The acronym for a You Only Live Once got a Texas high school student suspended when he wrote it on an exam and tweeted it to friends and school administrators. He wrote it in the essay portion of the exam, along with the caption: “I have the TAKS test to study for, not this unneeded craziness.” (TAKS – Texas Standardized Test). The junior, who nearly has a 3.0 grade point average and a high score on the PSAT.
Nemo Sequel: Finding Dory Coming Soon – Disney & Pixar have announced that Ellen Degeneres’ beloved character Dory will come back to life in 2015 with the sequel to 2003’s Finding Nemo! Degeneres said, “I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time. I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating `Toy Story 16.’ But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is — it’s got a lot more Dory”. The film follows Dory on her quest to find some of her love ones.
Kevin Clash Hit With Fifth Allegation Of Underage Sex – Kevin Clash was clearly doing more than teaching kids their ABC’s as the Elmo puppeteer on Sesame Street. A fifth man has come forward and accused him of engaging in underage sex with him. Kevin Kiadii says that when he was 16 Clash “groomed and coerced him into sexual contact”. Kiadii says that the encounter caused “mental, psychological and emotional trauma” and that he’s suing now because he was not immediately aware of the damage the abuse caused him.
Rutgers Coach Abusing Players – Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice was caught on video verbally and physically abusing players- throwing balls at players heads, kicking them and even using homophobic slurs. Back in December he was suspended from 3 games and fined $50K. The video was released and produced by Eric Murdock, a former NBA player who worked as director of player development for Rutgers’ Scarlet Knights, but whose contract was not renewed. Murdock says Rice put on his best behavior whenever the athletic director would come watch practice. Rutgers athletic director Tim Pernetti says that the issues have been investigated but there is a lot of backlash because of the fact that Rice is still employed with the university. The athletic director said Murdock’s job termination was due to insubordinate actions, and unrelated to the video. There’s no word that he will lose his position for the abuse.
Easter Bunny Explains Getting Arrested – The Easter bunny that was pulled over in Cali this past weekend is speaking out about his ordeal. He said, “You know i was sad. I was crying because I thought all these poor kids were going to think I am a bad Easter bunny.” He said that he was pulled over and given a warning because his helmet wasn’t properly attached.
Woman Attacks Man With Superglue And Prosthetic Leg – An argument between a man and woman in Austrailia did not end well for the man. During the attack the woman superglued the mans eyes shut and also poured some of the liquid into the mans ear. She also hit him with a prosthetic leg. It’s not known what started the fight but the man is currently in stable condition in the hospital.

Brothers Plead Guilty To $2.6M Ambulance Fraud – 2 brothers from Bucks County pleaded guilty yesterday to defrauding taxpayers out of $2.6M. The men ran 7 ambulances like taxis taking patients who were not necessarily in need to hospitals and then submitting false Medicare and Medicaid claims. They transported 27 people to kidney dialysis 3 times a week. Most of the people were able to walk but the brothers wouldn’t allow them to walk to and from the ambulance to avoid being caught. The bothers received $1,200 for each patient every week. The refused to take a plea deal and will be sentenced in July.
Philly Man Tries To Pay Cab In Weed – A 23 year old is facing marijuana charges after he tried to pay his cab fare in ganja. According to investigators he didn’t have any cash on him so he tried to hand the cabbie a bag of weed to cover the $8 fare. So in addition to facing charges about the unpaid bill he will also be facing possession charges. His hearing is set for April 8th.
Man Charged In Cold Case Murder Of NJ Teen 23 Years Ago – A 41 year old man has been charged with the murder of a 15 year old boy that took place 23 years ago. Investigators say that he stabbed the boy in the woods back in 1990. The man surrendered Monday morning and is in custody on $1M bail. He has told the judges that he won’t hire a lawyer and doesn’t want a public defender.
