Tupac Shakur has been nominated to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2014. The honor comes because he has 75 million albums sold and has a history of social activism and change, even 17 years after his death. The announcement was made by the Hollywood Walk of Fame Committee Chairman David Green. He is only the fourth rapper to get a star on the walk of fame. Other celebs to get their star on the walk of fame next year includes, Giancarlo Esposito, Tavis Smiley, Orlando Bloom, Ray Dolby, Sally Field, Jack Harris, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Liam Neeson, Paul Mazursky, Tom Sherak, Dabney Coleman, Kaley Cuoco, Claire Danes, Deidre Hall, Cheryl Hines, Don Mischer, Katy Perry and Rick Springfield and the late comedian Phil Hartman.
