On August 31 Redlight, Rudimental, Mord Fustang, TJR, Porter Robinson, Wolfgang Gartner, Walk The Moon, Haim, A$AP Rocky, Solange,, Public Enemy, 2 Chainz, Imagine Dragons, Empire Of The Sun, Phoenix, Deadmau5 and Beyoncé will perform. On September 1st Jesse Rose, Robert Delong, Alunageorge, GTA, Feed Me, Nero, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q, AB Soul, Fitz & The Tantrums, The Gaslight Anthem, Emile Sandé, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel, Wiz Khalifa, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Queens Of The Stone Age, Calvin Harris and Nine Inch Nails will hit the stage.
Simon Cowell Egged – During the finale of Britains Got Talent a woman popped up on stage during a performance and started throwing eggs at Simon Cowell! Security immediately rushed the stage to overtake the woman who was later revealed as 30 year oldNatalie Holt. She was a former contestant who was playing in the orchestra. After the incident she tweeted, “I want to apologize to Richard and Adam [the two who were performing at the time] for overshadowing their performance. I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do.” Cowell tweeted, “I don’t think eggs should be allowed on talent shows. Discuss?”
Lincoln Financial Field Going Through Some Changes – The Eagles are going to be playing in an upgraded field. The Lincoln Financial Field in Philly plan on making 125 million worth of changes and will add HD video boards, free Wifi, 1,600 seats, a murial, historic team pictures, expanded gates and a bridge in the upper and club levels.
Apple Annouces New Software And I Tunes Radio – Apple’s iOS7 is coming! Yesterday at the annual Worldwide Development Conference they talked about the ugrade to the ios7, they also announced iTunes Radio. First off the look of the operating system is going to change to look simpler and classy. They are chaging Siri’s voice and you will be able to use Air Drop to transfer files among other things. It will be a free internet radio service with more than 200 stations and customizable stations based on music listened to and/or downloaded. It will offer access to thousands of new songs every week and will rival existing apps like Pandora and Spotify.
Started From The Bottom Hot Sauce – Drake instagrammed “Mama we made it” along with a picture of a packet of hot sauce from Taco Bell. What do the two have in common, you ask? Professor Stabbed With Stiletto – 44 year old Ana Trujillo has been charged with murder after she stabbed a University of Houston professor to death with a stiletto heel. Her 59 year old boyfriend Alf Andersson was found on the floor of an apartment with multiple stab wounds to the head. Neighbors who heard the disturbance called police. Trujillo answered the door and was taken into custody. She is being held on $100K bond.
New Jersey’s New Senator Sworn In – New Jersey’s Jeffrey Chisea is the newest member of the state’s Senate. He was sworn in yesterday in a ceremony led by VP Joe Biden. Chris Christie appointed him to the seat after Senator Lautenberg’s death. He will serve for 4 months as the interim senator until a special election is held to determine who will permanently take the spot. Chiesa says that he will not run in the special election.
Soy Sauce Overdose Sends Teen Into Coma – A 19 year old took a dare to drink over a quart of soy sauce and ended up in a coma. He drank the sodium heavy liquid, suffered a seizure and went unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital and it was found that he was suffering from hypernatremia which is caused be a salt imbalance. It was determined that he had overdosed on sodium. He was eventually stabilized and woke up after 3 days without any permanent damage.
NSA Leaker Disappears – The 29-year-old National Security Agency contractor who leaked information about two top-secret anti-terrorism surveillance programs has disappeared, hours after publicly coming forward in interviews that the gov’t was monitoring our phone calls and emails. Edward Snowden checked out of the Hong Kong hotel yesterday where he’d been staying since leaving his home in Hawaii last month. Several U.S. lawmakers called for the extradition and prosecution of Snowden.
George Zimmerman Trial Begins – The second degree murder trial against George Zimmerman began yesterday. Zimmerman shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin last year in Florida. Jury selection began yesterday morning after a request for a delay was asked for by Zimmerman’s team and denied by the judge.
Octomom Under Investigation – Nadya Suleman aka “Octomom” is under investigation for welfare fraud, after officials received a tip that the mother of 14 has been illegally collecting thousands of dollars in government aid. Reports say Octomom and her children are eligible for welfare benefits if she earns less than $119,000 in a year. But officials got a tip that she made more than $200,000 last year and still collected the welfare money. If true, she could potentially face up to three years in prison. The 37-year-old filed for bankruptcy in May 2012, saying she had less than $50,000 in assets and owed between $500,000 and $1 million.
Guess Whos Bizack! – X-Box & Playstation Microsoft will launch its Xbox One console this November for $499. The device would sell as a single package, with no extra charges for accessories, like the Kinect controller. This new X Box will have hundreds of new games (hope they have candy crush). New Halo is coming to X Box 1. Now Sony said they will launch Playstation 4 for $399 and you won’t have to connect to the internet when playing games (like they said Xbox makes you do).
