Jay Z’s latest, Magna Carta Holy Grail, has been causing a huge stir since dropping on July 4th and now it’s been revealed that a 16 year old producer was a part of the project! Her name is Ebony “Wondagurl” Oshunrinde and she’s based out of Torono, Canada. When she was just 9 she watched a documentary on Jay Z and Timbaland and decided that she wanted to make music! She went and bought the software and started watching Youtube videos to learn how to make beats. At 15 she took home Toronto’s Battle of the Beatmakers crown and has worked with artists like Travi$ Scott and A$ap Ferg. Scott is the one who actually sent one of her beats to Jay Z and got her on in the project. She produced ‘Crown’ on MCHG and said that since the album has dropped a lot more artists are looking to work with her now.
