Guy With 22 Kids In Talks For Reality Show- As if there’s not enough ratchetry on TV today, there might be another crazy reality show in the works. Orlando Shaw, the father of 22 children by 14 different women, may be starring in the next big TV craze. Shaw has allegedly already signed with an LA agency and said that he’s already had a lot of people in Hollywood calling him. Shaw’s home state of Tennessee provides more than $7,000 in assistance per month to support Shaw’s kids so if this TV show is a real possibility it will bring in some much needed money. When asked why he didn’t wrap it up he said, “I was just young and ambitious and I love women. Hey, you can’t knock no man for loving a woman.”
Anthony Weiner Prematurly Ejaculated- Nik Richie, the man who let the world know about Anthony Weiner’s sexting habit, has unveiled some more dirty laundry about the New York mayoral candidate. Richie interviewed one of Weiner’s alleged mistresses who said that they two were in love and that she believed Weiner was only with his wife for “political reasons”. The downside to their relationship, according to her, was that he was a one-minute-man. She said that during phone sex Weiner would ejaculate less than a minute into their conversations. Hopefully his plans for New York mayor last longer.
Workers Rally For Higher Minimum Wage- About 40 people got together yesterday outside of City Hall in Philly and around other establishments to rally for higher minimum wage rates. The current rate is $7.25 an hour. One participant, who works as a banquet server, made a statement saying, “Everybody deserves a decent living wage. “People like myself don’t have the opportunity to live the life we deserve to live.” Republicans have been cited with resisting the efforts to raise the minimum wage rate but Obama seems to be on board. During his State of the Union Address he said, “We know our economy is stronger when we reward an honest day’s work with honest wages. Lets declare that in the wealthiest nation on Earth, no one who works full-time should have to live in poverty and raise the federal minimum wage to $9 an hour. We should be able to get that done.” The rally today was organized by Fight for Philly, the Restaurant Opportunities Center, SEIU 32BJ and the Philadelphia Unemployment Project.
NBA Player Has Abortion Contract With Girlfriend- Looks like NBA players are getting fancy with their birth control methods. According to documents released, NBA player JJ Redick and his then pregnant ex-girlfriend Vanessa Lopez had an abortion contract. The contract required that Lopez receive an abortion but after the fact Redick would have to stay in a relationship with her for one year. To be sure the abortion was actually done Lopez was required to provide a post-pregnancy examination report conducted by a doctor of Redick’s choosing. If Redick for any reason broke the relationship off before the year he was to pay Lopez $25,000 but if Lopez decided that she wanted to call it quits she just had to do so in writing. The papers also included a confidentiality clause and stipulations for contact that would and would not be allowed after the relationship was over.
Aaron Hernandez May Face Double Charges For Double Murder- Aaron Hernandez seems to be in more trouble than was originally thought. Prosecuters believe that they have collected enough evidence to connect and charge Hernandez with the death of 2 men in Suffolk County last year. According to police records the two men killed as they were sitting in a parked car and another car drove up and opened fire on them. These charges would be added to the charges Hernandez is already facing for the death of 27 year old Odin Lloyd.
Borgata Can Control Waitress Weight Gain- If you’re looking for a weight control program consider working at Borgata Hotel & Casino In Atlantic City. Apparently they are allowed to control how much weight their cocktail waitresses gain. 22 servers have objected to the policy but according to a state judge, the establishment’s practices are reasonable. The judge said that the weight regulation would be sexist if it only applied to one sex or if one sex was punished over another. Apparently the judge found that neither of these things are taking place at Borgata.
Royals Announce Baby Name– The world can’t get enough of the new royal baby and now according to reports, they can officially call him by his name. The baby prince of Cambridge can now be referred to as George Alexander Louis. George comes from his great grandfather King George VI and Louis comes from Prince Phillip’s uncle Lord Louis Mountbatten. Alexander is believed to a reference to the old kings of Scotland or a version of Alexandra- one of their top choices for a girl name. Someday baby Cambridge will be King George VII.
After I conducted a twitter pole, i found out that most people don’t care about this baby… Sooooooo Here you go! You Are Welcome!
Here’s how you can block the news of the new 8-pound, 6-ounce royal baby on Facebook and Twitter:
1. Install Unbaby.Me Plug-In for Chrome Sure, the Unnbaby.me plug-in for Google Chrome browsers was designed by a software developer who just wanted to block photos of his friends’ newborns, but it works for any baby, even if it is heir to the throne. You can install this extension here for Chrome browsers. Once installed, you can adjust the keywords that the software blocks. We’d suggest adding “royal baby,” “royal baby boy,” “it’s a boy” and then, of course, the official name, once it is released. The software automatically replaces the photos and posts about the baby with a photo of a cat, although you can sub in photos of dogs or a beach. This solution only works in Chrome with the Twitter.com and Facebook.com websites.
2. Set Up a Twitter Filter in Tweetdeck- If you use the Tweetdeck Twitter application on your computer, there is a very easy way to filter out content from your feed about the royal baby. On your timeline, select the arrow on the top right of the column and then select the drop-down menu with the word “content.” In the “content excluding” field, type in the terms you’d want to block, including “royal baby,” “it’s a boy,” “Kate Middleton,” and more. That should remove tweets with those words from your feed.
3. Close Your Eyes- When those things fail, it’s best to just rely on old-fashioned techniques: close your eyes and ignore. Sure, the The Guardian has made it a bit easier with a button to hide all of its royal coverage, but just try and skim over the headlines. It will all be over soon.
