NSA Leaker Getting Asylum – Edward Snowden, the man accused of leaking national security documents to the public, has been avoiding the US Justice System for several weeks now. His was last confirmed to be in Russia where the government there refused to give him up but now he might be on his way to South America where several countries have offered to protect him under Asylum. They say Nicaragua and Bolivia have also said they would accept Snowden, but his helpers think Venezuela is better able, “to get him safely from Moscow to Latin America and to protect him once he’s there.” Venezuela has granted him humanitarian political asylum.

Amanda Bynes Calls The Obamas Ugly– This crazy is not only wearing blue wigs to court, but also tweeted “Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are ugly!” She’s been on an ugly campaign lately calling everyone and their momma ugly from Jenny McCarthy to Rihanna, Courtney Love, Jay-Z and of course Drake. Just disrespectful!

Rapper Shot On Video– A Brazilian funk artist Daniel Pellegrine, known as MC Daleste, is dead after being shot in the abdomen while performing in a public housing building (aka the projects) in the city of Campinas in Brazil. The rapper was mid-song when a bullet struck him, causing the 20-year-old performer to fall back in a sitting position before others on stage came to help him. The incident was caught on video and uploaded to YouTube, where it has nearly 4 million views.

Petition Going Around To Make Party In The USA National Anthem – Miley Cyrus fans are really letting her status as “queen twerker” get to their heads. About 500 of her fans have started and signed a petition through ‘We The People’, an online petition site, to get her single Party In The USA made into the official national anthem of the United States. The petition seeks help from President Obama and they hope to get 10K signatures in total.

Abercrombie & Fitch Won’t Sell Black Clothing – Retailer Abercrombie & Fitch confirmed to Business Insider that it doesn’t sell black clothing, and that employees are discouraged from wearing it at work. A statement from Abercrombie & Fitch said they “do not sell black clothing and discourages [workers] wearing it at our home office and in our stores, because we are a casual lifestyle brand and feel black clothing is formal. We have nothing against black clothing and feel it is perfectly appropriate for things like tuxedos. Smh who died and these guys the “casual” cool kids clothing god?

Man Struck By Lightning While Fishing In NJ – A thunderstorm at Island Beach State Park in Ocean City County yesterday afternoon turned out to be more than just a passing shower for a 48 year old man. The man was struck by lightening while out there fishing. Although he was conscious and alert after the bolt hit him, he was complaining of leg numbness and taken to the hospital for further treatment. Investigators believe that the man’s fishing rod may have attracted the lightening to him.

J Cole Lands On Top – In it’s third week on the charts J. Cole’s Born Sinner has finally taken the number one spot in sales! This week Born Sinner moved 55K in copies compared to Wale’s 48K and Kanye’s 40K. Last week he came in #2 to Wale and the week before that, when his album released, he came in #2 to Kanye’s Yeezus. Official numbers will be released today.

Angry Trayvon Martin App – A new app has been developed called “Angry Trayvon.” As a part of the game the 17-year-old main character is named Trayvon and is black. He is wearing a hoodie and can attack other characters with weapons. Since the games release a petition was created and a Twitter uproar has caused for the $1.99 game to be taken out of app stores saying it was “inappropriate”, “racist” and “exploiting the death of Trayvon Martin.” The app developer at first said the said the app concentrates on a “world tour of revenge on bad guys” and then released the following statement: “The people spoke out therefore this game was removed from the app stores. Sorry for the inconvenience as this was just an action game for entertainment. This was by no means a racist game. Nonetheless, it was removed as will this page and anything associated with the game will be removed.” It still is available on Google Play.

FBI Joins Investigation of Rolex Watch Heist at Casino– Last week three men walked into the Borgata Casino, smashed the glass jewelry cases and walked away with about $200,000 worth of Rolex watches. Officials have announced that the FBI is now involved in the case and that they are pretty confident they know the background of the individuals. They believe that the men are involved in an organized group or ring and have released the images on the surveillance tapes to the public to get them.

GQ Rating Something That’s Not Fashion – GQ Magazine has put together a list of what they describe to be the “25 Worst Rapper List.” Tom Green is on the list (understandably) Chingy, Will Smith, Soulja boy, Madonna, Master P, Prince and Pro Athletes like Ron Artest And Shaq are also on the list. Too $hort and Easy E made the list (what are they smoking). Florida Accidentally Bans All Computers And Smart Phones– Florida lawmakers recently approved a bill that would ban all internet cafes but the bill was worded so poorly that they actually outlawed all computers in the state. The Internet cafes were banned after it was found that a charity was tied to internet gambling. The wording of the bill outlawed “any computer or device connected to the internet” and one internet café owner is now suing the state saying that the ruling was unconstitutional.

Lap Dance Tax– There’s an amusement tax in Philly that has been called a lap-dance tax and being imposed on some adult entertainment facilities aka strips clubs. Two companies are in the process of appealing the tax.
