George Zimmerman Verdict and He Is Concerned With His Safety -The 6 woman jury in the Trayvon Martin case found George Zimmerman ‘not guilty’ of 2nd degree murder and he was acquitted of the lesser charge of manslaughter. The ruling came as a huge shock considering that the jury asked the judge to clarify the meaning of ‘manslaughter’ as they were deliberating. Cities around the country made calls-to-action organizing protests and demonstrations against the ruling over night. There has even been fear of riot and violent rebellions because of the outcome of the case. Although Zimmerman is free according to the judicial system, him and his family know that they will never live a normal life again. His brother Robert said, “He has always feared for his safety, and we have always feared for his safety and our safety as a family. Clearly, he is a free man in the eyes of the court, but he’s going to be looking around his shoulder for the rest of his life.”
Feds Considering Prosecuting Zimmerman – George Zimmerman may have been acquitted of all of his charges by the state of Florida but the Department of Justice is considering pressing civil rights charges against him. According to the Associated Press, “Experienced federal prosecutors will determine whether the evidence reveals a prosecutable violation of any of the limited federal criminal civil rights statutes within our jurisdiction.” Groups like the NAACP and the American Civil Liberties Union are calling on the Attorney General to further investigate the case. If a trial comes about the Department of Justice will have to prove that the attack was unjustified and that Trayvon was killed strictly because of his race & because he was using a public facility- the street.
Artists React To Zimmerman Verdict – Celebrities had some strong reactions to the Trayvon Martin ruling when it was announced on Saturday night. Zimmerman doesn’t last a year before the hood catches up to him.” That tweet has been deleted. Young Jeezy released a song in honor of Trayvon called “It’s A Cold World” and Russell Simmons is calling for peace in the wake of the high emotions and anger as a result of the verdict.
Protests All Over The Country – Civil rights and religious leaders called for calm in the wake of the verdict, as did President Obama, and other than some breaking of windows, shots being fired and vandalizing of a police car in Oakland, California, the protests were peaceful. Nutter Urges Calm And Reflection – Before the rally in Love Park that took place in Philly yesterday Mayor Nutter issued his views on the George Zimmerman verdict. He explained how he is deeply saddened by the way that the case was handled, that George Zimmerman took an innocent life and how he grieves for the Martin family. He went on to spit some serious knowledge saying, “I believe everyone should be calm and reflective. Every day in America, African American males die on our streets in outrageously alarming numbers. Whether they die at the hands of a vigilante or another African American male, we must all commit ourselves to eliminating the conditions in our community that cause too many people to see young African American males as ‘threats’ instead of seeing the promise within each child.’ He wants people to channel their anger into constructive change to make America a better and safer place.

LA Deputies Let Pitbull Bleed To Death – Officers that responded to a shooting in LA back in December are said to have treated a 5 year old pit bull with “inexplicable cruelty” according to the dog’s owner. In the lawsuit filed, officers are accused of throwing a chair at the dog, shocking him in the face with a stun gun, shooting him and letting him bleed to death. The lawsuit explains, Chico Blue posed no threat to the officers. However, one of the officers, apparently for his own amusement, picked up a lounge chair and threw it over the fence at Chico. Shortly after, another officer opened the gate to the area where the dog was securely enclosed and tasered him twice in the face. Chico Blue yelped in pain and despite Mr. Gonzalez’s repeated plea to let him take Chico Blue into his home, officers refused to acknowledge Mr. Gonzalez’s requests. After being tasered, Chico Blue staggered through the gate an officer had left opened. Even though the dog was already dazed and injured, an officer near the sidewalk drew his gun and shot Chico Blue twice. The dog attempted to flee by jumping into an officer’s open car door, where an officer kicked the door closed and allowed Chico Blue to bleed to death. A Facebook page has been created for the case called “Justice For Chico Blue” and is getting a lot of attention considering the dog that was shot and killed last month that was caught on video. The owner of the dog is seeking $25K in damages.
How Big Is the Average Penis – If you or your man is wondering how he “measures up” to the national average of penis lengths a new study has the answer for you! According to a survey of more than 1000 men, the average length of a penis while erect is 5.6 inches. These findings were consistent with studies conducted in the past. The lengths however ranged from about 1.6 inches to 10.2 inches while erect. We’ve got to take these measurements with a grain of salt considering many of the participants measured themselves- leaving much room for embellishments. It was also found that men who are aroused via oral sex have larger measurements than those who are aroused by fantasizing. It was also found that myths and legends that say a man’s race or orientation can better determine their size weren’t true. Overall, penises come in many different “packages”…get it?
