Opening today (July 19th) is the sequel to the hit action comedy, Red 2, starring Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Brian Cox. The film follows the retired black-ops CIA team as they hunt for a missing nuclear device as they use their old school skills.

Opening today (July 19th) is the new action comedy, R.I.P.D., starring Jeff Bridges, Ryan Reynolds, Mary-Louise Parker and Kevin Bacon. The film follows veteran sheriff Roy Pulsifer, played by Bridges, who works for a police force known as the R.I.P.D., tracking monsters disguised as human beings. But when Roy is assigned a new partner, rising star detective Nick Walker, played by Reynolds, the unlikely pair uncover a plot that could end life as we know it and must do their best to stop it.

Opening today (July 19th) is the new horror film, The Conjuring, starring Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga, Ron Livingston, Lili Tayor and Shanley Caswell. The film, based on a true story, follows paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, played by Wilson and Farmiga, who are called to help a family being terrorized by a demonic entity and soon find themselves in the middle of the most terrifying case of their lives.

Fruitvale Station is centered on the tragic shooting of Oscar Grant (Michael B. Jordan), a vibrant 22-year-old Bay Area father who was senselessly gunned down by BART officers on New Year’s Day in 2009, and whose murder sent shockwaves through the nation after being captured on camera by his fellow passengers.  Powerful movie opening locally in Philly at the Ritz 5 and in Jersey at the AMC Cherry Hill.

‘SCANDAL’ IS COMING TO BET: According to The Hollywood Reporter, BET will start airing seasons one and two of Scandal this summer. Additionally, original episodes from the upcoming season three will air no sooner than eight days after original first run episodes are broadcast on ABC.

‘BRAVO’ ANNOUNCES ‘I DREAM OF NENE’ PREMIERE: Bravo has announced NeNe Leakes wedding spinoff, I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding. The reality show will premiere on September 17th at 9pm. NeNe remarried husband Gregg Leakes on June 22nd in Atlanta.
