Big Sean is gearing up to drop his sophomore album “Hall Of Fame”on Aug. 27th and its actually available for pre-sale now. To get people talking Big Sean dropped this song that didn’t make his album. He says,
Since my new album #HallOfFame is avail for preorder in a couple hours Can I drop something that didn’t make the album?! straight rap sh**… This one that didn’t make the album cuz of the sample BUT IT IS NOT no radio sh–.. Straight rap… I’m talking 7min sh** … Grimey sh**.
On the song it seems Kendrick Lamar takes shots at rappers previously thought to be his friend. Compton’s finest raps,
“I’m Machiavelli’s offspring, I’m the king of New York/King of the Coast, one hand, I juggle them both.”
Kendrick then continues to add salt to the injury,
“I’m usually homeboys with the same n****s i’m rhymin wit. But this is hip hop and them n****s should know what time it is. And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electron‘, Tyler, Mac Miller. I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you n****s. Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n****s.”
Ok Kendrick. You might have ruffled some feathers with that one. Listen to the song below.
Rappers are starting to react to Kendrick’s claims. Check out some tweets below.
