She was allegedly on the phone with her mom after she had a fight with her boyfriend Ryan Anderson, who plays ball for the New Orleans Pelicans. Sources say they had a bad fight earlier that day during a lunch date and he told her that he “Didn’t Love Her Anymore.” Her mom said while they were on the phone talking the phone went silent. When her boyfriend got home, he found she hung herself.
Philly Is #1 In Smartphone Thefts – According to AAA, Philadelphia is the number one location for stolen smartphones in the U.S. Robberies on Septa were at the top of the list. 39 cell phones, on average, were lost or stolen each month last year on SEPTA. Septa Chief police is saying if If people would put their phones away as the trains are pulling in and out of SEPTA station fewer phones would be stolen. AAA says almost one out of three robberies nationwide involves the theft of a mobile phone.

Money from licensed merchandise dropped more than $700,000 from last year. It dropped more than 1 million since 2 years ago. A Penn State spokeswoman says that is no surprise. Obama Joins The Fight For Pit Bulls – Yesssss! He released a statement saying,
“We don’t support breed-specific legislation — research shows that bans on certain types of dogs are largely ineffective and often a waste of public resources…As an alternative to breed-specific policies, the CDC recommends a community-based approach to prevent dog bites. And ultimately, we think that’s a much more promising way to build stronger communities of pets and pet owners.”
This comes after there was an petition submitted to the White House with more than 30,000 signatures asking for laws that target dogs by breed to be outlawed at a federal level. They also want the pit bull bans in U.S. military housing lifted.
Controversial Posters Promote MTV VMAs – MTV is preparing for the VMA’s this weekend, which will broadcast from the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. People in Brooklyn are reporting to have seen street posters featuring Kanye West lyrics and images of George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin. The line “I’d rather be a d-ck than a swallower” appear on the plain white posters with cartoon-style drawings of Trayvon in a hoodie and Zimmerman in a suit. Teens Charged With Killing Australian Baseball Player – An Australian baseball player on scholarship was out for a jog in Oklahoma was shot and killed last week by three “bored” teenagers who decided to kill someone for fun. His name was Christopher Lane and he was visiting the town because his girlfriend and her parents lived here. 2 of the teens were 15 and 16 and they are being charged with 1st degree murder. The 17 year old is being charged as an accessory after the fact of murder in the first degree. One of the boys have talked to the police saying they saw Christopher go by and one of them said: ‘There’s our target.” The boy who is talking says ‘We were bored and didn’t have anything to do, so we decided to kill somebody.” There are vine videos of one of the teens playing with guns, pictures of guns and tweets saying 2 bodies down.
