MOVIE OPENING: ‘PARANOIA’

Opening today (August 16th) is the new thriller, Paranoia, starring Harrison Ford, Liam Hemsworth, Gary Oldman and Amber Heard. The film follows Adam, played by Hemsworth, who’s trying to get ahead in the world and is hired by CEO Nicholas Wyatt, played by Oldman, to spy on his biggest competition. Wyatt will stop at nothing to keep his company afloat and Adam soon realizes he’s just a pawn in CEO’s dangerous game.

MOVIE OPENING: ‘LEE DANIELS’ THE BUTLER’

New drama, from DIrector Lee Daniels’ (who also did Precious) – The Butler, starring Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz,  Robin Williams, Alan Rickman and Jane Fonda. The film follows a White House butler who served eight American priesidents over three decades. This is the movie where Terrence has fun with Oprah’s tigobitties.

MOVIE OPENING: ‘KICK-ASS 2’

The sequel to the hit movie, Kick-Ass 2, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz, Jim Carrey, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, John Leguizamo and Donald Faison. The film follows Dave, a.k.a. Kick-Ass, who joins a group of amateur superheroes led by Colonel Stars and Stripes, played by Carrey, to fight the villain Red Mist, played by Mintz-Plasse, once again.

MOVIE OPENING: ‘JOBS’

New biopic, Jobs, starring Ashton Kutcher, Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas and Matthew Modine. The film follows the life of Steve Jobs as he and Steve Wozniak develop Apple Computers.

Sunday Night

HBO True Blood – (season finale) Bill discovers the price of salvation; Sookie examines her future with Warlow.  Now everyone can watch “Breaking Bad.”

OWN Oprah’s Next Chapter – Lindsey Lohan speaks on her hotmessness
