Republicans Vote To Delay Obamacare – In a 231-192 vote the House Republicans pushed through a bill that will delay Obamacare for a year and repeal a tax on medical devices that was going to help pay for Obamacare. The Senate which is led by the Democratics have already said any bill to delay Obamacare, which has been 3 years in the making is getting shut down. If they can’t agree by midnight tonight than the government will shutdown. A shutdown happens when the government can agree on bills for the fiscal year. This would be the first shutdown in 17 years. 800,000 federal workers deemed non-essential would be laid off without pay. The national parks will be closed, and other government services will be unavailable, such as getting a passport or visa. Critical services like patrolling the borders, inspecting meat and controlling air traffic will continue, as will Social Security payments and the Medicare and Medicaid health care programs. As of now i believe you will be able to sign up for Obamacare tomorrow at heathcare.gov and it will be in effect on January 1st.  If you are still confused about Obamacare read HERE

3 Year Old Brings 14 Bags Of Weed To Daycare – Most three year olds bring toys and graham crackers to school but one toddler in Harlem was toting 14 bags of week in her book bag. According to reports she was given the drugs by a friend of her father. Administrators called police who uncovered the 14 freezer and sandwich bags stuffed with marijuana. The little girl was questioned and the drugs were found to belong to a 24 year old who has since been charged with criminal possession and sale of marijuana. Cops are still trying to figure out how the drugs got into her backpack. smh

US And Russia Have Syria Deal – After weeks of awkwardness between the United States and Russia they have finally come to an agreement on the situation in Syria. As a part of the agreement Syria will have to give up the chemical weapons to the Security Council of the United Nations. They will have to provide a full catalog of the chemical arsenal and allow UN inspectors to start working no later than November 1st to destroy the weapons. They hope to destroy all of the chemical weapons by the middle of 2014. OPCW spokesman Michael Luhan said, “This hasn’t been done before: an international mission to go into a country which is involved in a state of conflict and amid that conflict oversee the destruction of an entire category of weapons of mass destruction which it possesses.”

Aaron Hernandez Girl Indicted For Perjury – According to a Massachusetts judge, Aaron Hernandez’s fiancé Shayanna Jenkins has been indicted on perjury charges in relation to the June killing of Odin Lloyd. It is not clear yet what led to the charge but the full details of her arraignment have not been released. Three other people in addition to Hernandez and Shayanna are also being brought up on charges in this case as an accessory to murder after the fact. Those people are his friends Ernest Wallace, Carlos Ortiz and his cousin Tanya Singleton who is also being charged with criminal contempt. Hmmm looks like some people were trying to cover things up for him.

Naked Haunted House In PA – The Township Of Spring in PA town had planned a naked haunted house as a part of their ‘Shocktober fest’ activities. The attraction would allow those 18 and older to explore their fears and the haunted house completely in the nude. After some backlash and voiced discomfort from residents and town officials the plan has been revised and now participants will be required to wear underwear. The house owner hopes to work with officials to negotiate an all-nude option for next year. Nah I’m good on that! I’ll pass.

Congressmen Drinking While On The Job – Many republican congressmen spent yesterday afternoon in voting hearings regarding the bill to delay Obamacare and stopping the addition of a medical device tax that would pay for it. According to tweets from congressional reporter Ginger Gibson people were drinking on the job. She said, “I’m not over exaggerating when I say I can smell the booze wafting from members as they walk off the floor” and “For all those asking for names, sorry, I didn’t get close enough to figure out the source of the smell.” Another said that she ran into some congressmen at the liquor store. This apparently isn’t a new practice considering democrats were said to have done the same thing back in 2010 when dealing with the Affordable Health Care Act.

Puerto Rican Day Parade On The Parkway – I was there with Johnny in the Power 99 truck.  Shout out to all the people that showed us love. Danny Garcia was out there with his title on his float. People were sending me vines of people dancing and twerking on 5th and Somerset. Thankfully the cops didn’t punch anyone in the face, which is what happened last year.
