Kendrick Lamar and Drake won big at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards, however Drake didn’t even show up. Kendrick took home five awards, including Lyricist of the Year, MVP of the Year, Album of The Year for his debut album “good kid, m.A.A.d city.”  Drake  received three awards and won two as part of A$AP Rocky’s hit “Problems.” A$AP Rocky took home two awards. Philly’s own Eve presented MC Lyte with the I Am Hip Hop Award. Queen Latifah, Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith and Missy Elliot all spoke about how Lyte impacted hip hop in a video.



Meek Mill hit the stage first with his club bangers “Dreams and Nightmares” and “Levels To This Sh*t”


2 Chainz rocked the stage with “Fork,” then bought out Mannie Fresh for “Go DJ” and “Used 2”. He then surprised the crowd by bringing out Juvenile for a performance of his classic “Back That A** Up.”



Future performed “Honest” and then bought out Rick Ross and DJ Khaled to perform “I Wanna Be With You” and “No Games.” Rick has his velvet jacket on and man boobs out.



TDE’s ScHoolboy Q performed “Collard Greens” and bought out Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock for “Money Trees.”



French Montana bought out Diddy, Rick Ross and Snoop Dogg for the “I Ain’t Worried Bout Nothin’ (Remix)” which led into a medley from Yo Gotti, Rocko, and Rich Homie Quan.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony hit the stage with a medley of their hits, including, “Thuggish Ruggish Bone” with Claudette Ortiz, “1st Of Tha Month,” “Crossroads.”
