Woman Reveals Adrian Peterson Has Another Secret Child – According to new reports Adrian Peterson from the Vikings has a second love child. This news comes as Peterson will have to travel to South Dakota to bury the two-year-old son he just recently found out was his. The woman making the claims is a waitress from Minnesota. She said that she met Peterson while waiting on him at a steakhouse called Seven. The second love child is a three-month-old little girl and the mother told the world about her the day that Peterson’s son died by posting on Facebook saying “Today has been a long day finding out my [daughter’s] brother passed away and knowing that she never even got to meet him.”

The Most Dangerous States In America – The FBI has put together a list of America’s most dangerous states based on their statistics for rape, robbery, murder and aggravated assault. The results may be surprising. Number one on the list was Tennessee- the state has the highest numbers of aggravated assaults and the number of murders and robberies were in the top 10. Number two was Nevada, which is home of the country’s most robbery’s and pretty high on the list for forcible rape. The rest are: Alaska, New Mexico, South Carolina, Delaware, Lousiana, Florida, Maryland and Oklahoma. Delaware was ranked #6 because of it’s aggravated assault rate of 342 per 100,000 and 80 crimes per 100 residents. Most of the crime occurs in the poorest neighborhoods of Wilmington.

Study Finds Oreos Are Addictive – A new study has found that Oreo cookies may be just as addicting as drugs! The study was conducted at Connecticut College and determined that rats that ate Oreos had similar association with the cookies that rats injected with cocaine had with the drug. The researchers also found that eating the cookies activated more neurons in the rat’s “pleasure center” than drugs did. One of the authors of the study said, “Our research supports the theory that high-fat/ high-sugar foods stimulate the brain in the same way that drugs do. It may explain why some people can’t resist these foods despite the fact that they know they are bad for them.” So we may now have scientific backing to blame our guilty pleasures on!

Twitters New Direct Message Option – So in the old days of Twitter you could only Direct Message someone if they followed you both followed each other but those days are no more. The site is now giving users the option to allow followers to send them direct messages- even if you don’t follow them back. The new option under settings says, “If you check this option, any Twitter user that follows you will be able to send you a DM, regardless of whether you decide to follow them back.” This is the first time this has been possible. Apparently Wale enabled the setting for a little while and the thirsties flocked. He tweeted “So the DMs from trolls has started…” The company is looking for a way to gain points with advertisers so this may be their way of doing it.

Macy’s Changes Up Traditions – Last year Macy’s made headlines when it decided to open it’s door’s on midnightbetween Thanksgiving day and BlackFriday but they are taking it a step further and will be opening their doors on Thanksgiving this year. The retail chain will open at 8PM on Thanksgiving night and will stay open until 10PM on Fridaynight. Macy’s is moving the opening time up due to increased competition from other stores that are open in Thanksgiving. The chain is saying that it is allowing its employees to choose their preferred shifts during the holiday but I’m sure there will be many unhappy workers that day. This is the first time ever that Macy’s is opening of Thanksgiving.

Best Day To Look For A Job – The job hunt is an ultimate struggle these days but a new study has found that searching on Monday may be your best bet in terms of finding a job. The study was conducted by bright.com which matches job seekers and recruiters. The site analyzed the more than ½ a million job applications and 15 million application views along. It defined “success” as those that resulted in a candidate being moved forward in the hiring process. The study found that 30% of those who apply for a job on a Monday are invited to the next stage of the hiring process. (This may be because applications submitted on aMonday are less likely to be overlooked in the resume stock pile than those submitted later in the week). Most people actually apply on Tuesdays but only 20% of them are moved forward. The study excluded jobs that do not require a resume for hire.
