Box Office Hits

The drama Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooneyas astronauts stranded in space when their shuttle is destroyed, debuted in first place at the box office with the biggest October opening ever. It racked in $55.55 million and was also the biggest opening for both Sandra and George. Last week’s top movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, fell to second place. Opening at #3 was Runner Runner, starring Justin Timberlake as a man who goes to Costa Rica to confront an online gambling guy, played by Ben Affleck, who cheated him.

Halle Berry To Star In Steven Spielberg Drama ‘Extant’ For CBS – Halle Berry is coming to TV!The Oscar-winning actress is set to star in Steven Spielberg’s new drama “Extant” for CBS, set to air in summer 2014.Halle will play an astronaut who comes home after being on a solo mission in space for a year and tries to reconnect with her husband and son.

J-Lo To Play Rihanna’s Mom In New Film – It’s a new animated Dreamworks film called “Home.” The film is dropping in November 2014 and its about an alien invasion. It’s a comedy, Rihanna will voice the lead and J-Lo will voice her mom.

Miley’s Done Twerking – During her appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend, which Miley hosted and performed at she said some interesting things. First she said that Hannah Montana was murdered and then she said she’s done twerking because now the white people are doing it, its kind of lame now. She also asked people to stop remaking her Wrecking Ball video. Meaning stop jumping on random wrecking balls. naked.
