TMZ caught up with Drake’s dad, Dennis Graham- who drummed for Jerry Lee Lewis, and asked him about and future collaborations with his singer/rapper son. Drizzy Sr. said “I have! [recorded new music] We just did a song together.” Earlier this year it was rumored that dad would appear on a track called “Heat of the Moment” on now platinum NWTS. The track didn’t make it to the album but it definitely exists. No other details about the song have been released but Drake spoke very highly of his dad in an XXL interview saying “I’m living my dad’s dream. My dad wanted to be a famous singer… It’s a real relationship. Not to be ironic, we go through the motions of a father-son relationship. Right now, he happens to be extremely stable and content, and I take care of what I can for him… Like any other family, there have been dark times. There have been other interviews where I was asked about my dad and I didn’t want to talk about it… but at the end of the day, he is a great man and I love him very much.” Drizzy’s uncle, Larry, is was also a guitarist that formed part of the 70s funk band Sly & the Family Stone. Thats dope! Nas made a song with his dad back in the day an i loved it!
