MOVIE OPENING:

‘THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE’
Opening today is the highly anticipated second chapter of The Hunger Games movies, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Evan Ross (Diana Ross’ Son) Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Donald Sutherland, Jena Malone, Elizabeth Banks and Stanley Tucci. The film follows Katniss anf Peeta as they embark on a “Victor’s Tour” while President Snow plots their downfall.

 

 ‘DELIVERY MAN’

Opening today is the new comedy, Delivery Man, starring Vince Vaughn, Chris Pratt, Cobie Smulders and Bobbie Moynihan. The film followsa delivery truck driver content with a life of mediocrity and has fathered more than 500 children through a sperm bank and gets involved in some of their lives.

Movie Updates: 
BEST MAN 3 IN THE WORKS: According to Deadline, Malcolm D. Lee (the Director of the first 2) is in negotiations to write, direct and produce another film in The Best Man franchise for Universal. There’s no word yet on which cast members would return for the third film, but it doesn’t sound like any of them are contracted to come back. Lee is currently developing an untitled project for Fox Searchlight but is expected to begin work on The Best Man Holiday sequel soon.

Reality TV Show Updates: 

MEELAH WILLIAMS AND LATAVIA ROBERSON JOIN ‘R&B DIVAS: LA’: 90’s girl group fans rejoice! According to Theybf.com, Meelah Williams of 702 and Latavia Roberson of Destiny’s Child has joined the cast of R&B Divas: Atlanta. The ladies began shooting earlier this month. Meelah has been living with the father of her four-year-old son Musiq Soulchild in Atlanta for years, while Latavia just had a child with Kandi Burruss’ manager Don Vito.

    •    2013 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS – Pitbull will be hosting; scheduled performers include Justin Timberlake, Ke$ha, Miley Cyrus, Arianna Grande, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, TLC, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and some other people.  It has been announced that 2 Chainz will be one of the presenters for the 2013 American Music Awards. Rihanna will receive the Icon Award. The awards air on Sunday, November 24th on ABC.

    •    OPRAH’S NEXT CHAPTER – Babyface is set to appear on Oprah’s Next Chapter this Sunday. Oprah will visit  Babyface’s Los Angeles home and will discuss his divorce and his new album with  Toni Braxton Love, Marriage and Divorce. Oprah’s Next Chapter with Babyface will air on at 9pm on OWN.
