Last week Complex Magazine released their list of the top 50 albums for 2013. Among those recognized were Big Sean, Migos, French Montana, Young Thug, 2 Chainz, Juicy J, Jay Z, A$AP Rocky, Mac Miller, Childish Gambino, Pusha T, Kanye West and Drake. Wale’s ‘The Gifted’ was nowhere to be found. Folarin was upset about this (and rightfully so!) He called up Complex and gave them a piece of him mind. He accused the magazine of having a personal vendetta against him and said, “Do you think y’all being a responsible publication by continuously to f***** like…do all that petty s…At this point, you know it’s got to be personal. You tellin’ me it’s not personal is like a bold face lie. To be omitted from every type of list that y’all do or be at the bottom of it or every type of way that y’all can omit me, y’all will…You mean to tell me Juicy J’s album is better than mine?…You know it’s disrespect. I swear to God I’ll come to that office and start knocking n*****s the f**k out. Y’all wanna see some ghetto ignorant s**t? That’s what y’all promote. That’s the only thing y’all promote from n****s.” He then said he’d see them the next day and told them to get security ready. Le didn’t show up but he did make a funny Instagram video where he was ‘armed’ with his laptop ready to tear Complex down.
