Movie Updates

Rita Ora Added to ’50 Shades of Grey’ Cast: Rita Ora has joined the cast for the highly anticipated film, Fifty Shades of Grey. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the singer was casted as the adopted sister of Christian Grey, who is played by Jamie Dornan. The film is based on the novel by EL James.

Spike Lee’s Oldboy Bombs At Box Office – Director Spike Lee’s remake of Oldboy, about a man held captive for over 20 years didn’t do to well in the box office. I didn’t even know this movie had been released! The flop was only released in 600 theaters nationwide and only managed to just barely rake in 850,000 when it cost 30 million dollars to make.

Mandela A Hit In South Africa – Idris Elba is in the movie. It’s already been released and it’s called Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.  The project took 19 years to complete. They say his daughters found out about his passing as they were leaving the theater from watching this movie. It’s ironic that this was released so clase to his passing.
