Rumors swirled last week that Justin Bieber could face possible deportation as a result of his egging, speeding, DUI, drag racing and party escapades recently. Well yesterday a petition on “We The People” received more than 100,000 signatures and now the White House is mandated to respond. The petition is titled “Deport Justin Bieber and revoke his green card” and says:

“We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”

The website guarantees that should a petition garner more than 100K signatures the Administration will issue a response. In the past the WH has responded to mandatory petitions within 30 days. This one was written back on January 23rd. A state department spokeswoman commented on the petition’s request to revoke Bieber’s Visa by saying, “We’re getting down quite a rabbit hole here with Justin Bieber, but … I will check and see what the visa implications would be for anybody who is found of possibly violating the law.” As of last night there were 136K signatures.
