Ice Cube and Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart and Ice Cube did major numbers over the weekend with their new cop comedy ‘Ride Along’. The film brought in $41.2 million during its opening weekend but that number is expected to jump to $47.8 million after the MLK holiday numbers are added in. It’s budget was 25 million, so they come out pretty good considering the movie was shelved for 10 years and Universal expected the film to make $25 million, which it easily surpassed. It is the biggest movie opening on MLK Weekend, beating out Cloverfield,  and it also broke the record for a January opening. Congrats to Kevin and Cube. This is very deserved for a really good movie! Watch them talk about this movie HERE.
