A senior from Bensalem High School had his dreams come true when the 76ers signed him during a ceremonial deal. 18 year old Kevin Grow was born with down syndrome but has not let it stop him from pursuing his athletic talents. The teenager took Bensalem by storm when he scored a game-high of 14 points and a 3-pointer at the buzzer during a hometown game. After seeing him in action the 76ers signed him to a two day contract saying, “Grow has become an inspiration to the Sixers organization, as his story has swept the nation.” Grow got to shoot around with his new Sixers team mates, he has his own jersey and locker and participated in the high 5 tunnel at last nights game against the Cavs. Love this!
