Chill Moody’s buzz is undeniably growing fast, and for the simple fact that he’s representing West Philadelphia on DJ Juanyto new mixtape Young New York, is a major landmark showing the progression that Moody has made in the past year, and I know that a lot of artists from NYC were salty about that!

Chill Moody continues his “Sharpening My Teeth” series with this freestyle over the soulful sound of  J.Coles “Grew Up Fast“, and if you enjoy lyrics and word play, then you’ll sure as hell enjoy this track.

After killing it down in SXSW, and hitting the stage at The Roots Picnic May 31st, it’s a guarantee that the name Chill Moody will be growing up fast in the hip hop community. Listen to the track below and download the entire mixtape here.

“Cause even coal shines when its left under pressure, see me and Cole are alike we both slept through them lectures, I did 5 years and 1 with my professor.” – Chill Moody
