Last night the Oscar’s went down and in addition to star-studded selfies, celebrity dance offs and amazing performances- people sat on the edge of their seats to see who would take home the award for “Best Original Song”. Among the nominees were “Alone Yet Not Alone” from the faith based film of the same title, Pharrel’s “Happy” from “Despicable Me” and “Let It Go” from Disney’s “Frozen”. The husband-wife team who wrote the song for “Let It Go” took home the award and some were none too pleased. Pusha took to IG to share that he felt the Pharrell was ‘robbed’. Don’t get me wrong “Happy” is an amazing song, but so is “Let It Go”– great contenders and “Let It Go” came out on top last night. BUT to weigh the loss you don’t hear “Let It Go” getting major spins on EVERY radio station, “Happy” on the other hand…you win some, you lose some. Check out the IG post below. (And for those who haven’t watched Frozen- you SHOULD- listen to “Let It Go” below the pic and decide for yourself!
