During a recent interview J.Lo said that if she had to choose between saving exes Ben Affleck and Diddy she’d “let both of those motherf***** drown.” Looks like Jenny from the block took that mentality into the boardroom when it came to making a deal to acquire Fuse Network. Lopez serves as the Chief Creative Officer for NUVOtv which has reportedly decided to shell out $226 million to take ownership of Fuse Network from Madison Square Garden Company. Earlier this year Diddy and billionaire partner Ron Burkle offered a staggering $220 million for ownership. J.Lo came out on top and issued this statement:
Music is my first love so the acquisition of Fuse is near and dear to my heart…It’s exciting that between NUVOtv and Fuse we’ll have the ability to deliver a broad array of terrific content both from a Latino perspective and across multiple genres, including music, to a broader audience. The acquisition of Fuse means we now own two wonderful assets. It’s a phenomenal time for our company and we look forward to growing both networks in the years ahead.
Lopez’s manager Benny Medina reports that as of right now they plan to keep the two channels as separate identities with no plan to change the formatting of Fuse.
