News: Jay Z and Police Drop Extortion Charges

Jay Z and the police department working the case have dropped the extortion charges against Jigga’s former producer Chauncey Mahan who attempted to sell some old recordings back to Live Nation. Mahan attempted to sell more than $15 million worth of the recordings back to the label saying that he could no longer afford to pay for the storage- he was asking for $100,000. According to TMZ Jay’s team has dropped the charges and the Beverly Hills cops closed the case.
