Mimi has finally released some concrete details about her forthcoming and 14th studio album. The project was previously titled “The Art of Letting Go” but has been renamed “Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse”. For those of you who don’t know what “Chanteuse” means (because I surely didn’t) according to Webster it is, “a female singer of popular songs, especially in a nightclub.” The regular edition album will have 15 tracks while the deluxe will include 18 with assistance from Nas, Miguel, Wale, Mary J. Blige, Dem babies and more! In response to the interesting album art Mariah said that it’s based on her first and only self portrait that she drew when she was 3 years old!
