News: Powerful Woman Interested In The Clippers

Yesterday everyone and their momma tweeted and made announcements about their interest in buying the Clippers from racist owner Donald Sterling. The NBA commissioner said Sterling is banned from being around the team, speaking to the players, going to the game, shooo he’s even banned from watching the games. Lol. At first reports said Magic Johnson is interested, but recent reports say he’s not. Floyd Mayweather, Dr. Dre, Diddy, Rick Ross and David Geffen have shown interest. And speaking of David Geffen, Oprah Winfrey is in discussions with (entertainment mogul) David Geffen and (Oracle CEO) Larry Ellison to make a bid for the Los Angeles Clippers, should the team become available. According to Forbes, Winfrey is the richest African-American in the world (net worth $2.9 billion), Geffen’s net worth is $6.2 billion and Ellison’s ($50.2 billion) ranks him as the fifth richest person on the planet. I also heard Oscar De La Hoya and Frankie Munoz (Malcolm In The Middle) are interested. This is all of course if Sterling sells. The other owners need to have a majority voting to push him out. A three-quarters majority of the remaining 29 owners must agree, and Silver said he expects to have their backing.
