The Heisman trophy winning quarter back from Florida State University, Jameis Winston, was obviously hungry. On Tuesday night he was spotted by a employee, and caught on a surveillance camera, leaving the grocery store without paying $32 dollars for his items. What did he take? Crawfish and crab legs. Authorities went to Winston’s house later that night where they said he admitted to forgetting to pay for the goods. An official said, “Jameis was very cooperative…He did, in fact, acknowledge he had left Publix without paying for the items. He indicated to the deputies he had forgotten. And when he got home he realized that he had not paid. But he in fact had made no effort to contact Publix or return to pay prior to the deputies’ arrival.” Winston, who was not arrested, will have to complete a pre-trial program, pay a fine, do community service and provide restitution for Publix. He has been suspended from the team indefinitely until he completes his program. This is not the first time this guy has had a run in with the law. Last year a woman accused him of sexually assaulting her and he was never charged because of insufficient evidence and in 2012 he was questioned regarding 13 windows being damaged in his complex after he had a bb gun fight with his friend. They denied the fight and was never charged. Then in another incident, police records show Winston came into a Burger King with three men but did not order food, instead asking for a water cup he repeatedly filled with soda over an employee’s objections. The report says Winston was never interviewed about the incident because the restaurant declined to prosecute.
