The Broadway play that features several of Tupac’s songs called ‘Holla If You Hear Me’ is not doing so well. According to reports, the production may close due to low ticket sales. The New York Post is reporting that the show has grossed $170,000 making it the lowest grossing Broadway show. Some critics cite the lack of a big feature star and specific target audience for the low sales. A veteran producer said, “There is no demographic for this show…Middle-aged women buy the bulk of tickets.” My suggestion is to take a trip to New York and support this. We need to support this so they continue to make Broadway plays based off music from hip hop legends!
