Eminem has continued his efforts to give back to his home city of Detroit. Over the weekend he used Ebay to raise more than $17,000 for a Detroit based charity. He put up 10 items for sale including his limited-edition G shock and tickets to his and Rihanna’s sold out Monster Tour. 100% of the proceeds will go to HOPE, which helps families and senior citizens with food, education and other assistance programs. HOPE hasn’t said how they will use the funds yet but thanked Em and his team via twitter, “A big thank you to @Eminem and his team at @FameHouse @ShadyRecords @Kompolt4Good and @eBay for all they did for Detroit.” Last year Eminem matched a $100,000 donation for the Detroit Wolverine Human Services.
