Things are still a little tense in Southwest Philly after a fire almost burned down a whole block and residents protested/rioted against the fire department, which was up the block, for taking so long to respond. Meek Mill, who as we know is from North Philly, headed down to Southwest Philly to show support for the families of the 4 children that died in the fire. “I just wanted to come by and show my support to all of the families and everybody that was hurt by this situation,” Meek said. “I feel I’m in a position where I can help these people. Anything I can do to help them with their losses, I’m gonna do it.” Meek said he plans on donating money to the victims of the fire. Meek also put up a picture on instagram of the memorial filled with balloons and teddy bears and a whole bunch of things. I even saw he retweeted us.  Power 99 put up a tweet to a link that directs you to help the family of the victim and Meek retweeted saying I’ll help “let’s see who else successful from philly help.” If you would like to help click HERE.
