According to TMZ, Young Money is being sued for their website’s domain name. A business that helps young emerging entrepreneurs to make and manage their money originally owned the domain name ‘youngmoney.com’. They sold the name in 2011 to the Young Money music imprint for $600,000. One stipulation of the sale required that Young Money needed to make their payments on time and if they failed to do so they would forfeit the domain name and it would be returned to the original company. The lawsuit alleges that Young Money still owes $250,000 and has ignored its obligation to keep up with payments. The sellers are now suing for the name. No one from YM has commented on the suit as of yet.
