On Sunday night Jay Z took the stage at Day 2 of Made in America. He performed a medley of songs including No Church In The Wild, Public Service Announcement and Marcy Me. Jay shoutouted out the victims of the Houston flooding, letting them know they are in his prayers and then had the crowd sing Happy Birthday to Beyonce. When everyone thought the show was over, he had a surprise and brought out Meek Mill to perform Dreams and Nightmares. Also taking the stage was Run the Jewels who had a very political message to share. The duo performed a number of tracks from Run The Jewels 2 including ‘Lie, Cheat and Steal’ which they dedicated to the Fraternal Order of Police. They dedicated it specifically to the FOP’s president John McNesby for his comments that compared the Black Lives Matter movement to a terrorist group and a ‘pack of wild animals’.
