News: Nicki Minaj Calls Out Sexism in Hip Hop

Earlier this week Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to call out sexism in hip hop. She started off with a tweet that said, “women must work TWICE as hard to get even HALF the respect her male counterparts get.” She went on to say that people will collaborate with male artists like Drake or Kendrick because they are good artists but have to be forced to work with Minaj. Nicki then pulled out a tweet that Kendrick Lamar posted seven years ago about how men hate on her more than women do. Many took to social media to agree with Nicki and ask the important question, ‘when does it stop?’ Check out all of her tweets below.
