As “Motorsport,” the Migos track featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi B climbs into the top 10, Cardi B has a another reason to celebrate. She has now become the first female rapper to score her first three songs as Hot 100 entries. Her very first hit “Bodak Yellow” reached #1 and the G Eazy and ASAP Rocky assisted “No Limit” reached number 7. Motorsport currently sits at number 6 on the charts and it’s climbing. Cardi previously broke Lauryn Hill’s record as the longest running No.1 hit by a solo female rapper and beats out rapper Lil Mama’s record who charted her first two song “Lip Gloss” and “Shawty Get Loose” in the Top 10. It also doesn’t seem like this newly engaged rapper plans on slowing down. Her next single “Cartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage will be released this Friday and the video for “No Limit” has been released. If that’s not enough, seems like Cardi will be making some money in the latino market recently releasing a song and video titled “La Modelo” (The Model) with puerto rican rapper Ozuna. Checkout the video and a snippet of her new song below.
