Recap: Intern Showcase @ Webster Hall NYC

Last Night (Nov. 16th), I hosted a new artist showcase “Intern showcase” at Webster Hall in NYC and i must admit i was very surprised with all the excellent talent that touched that stage. Performers included Ryann, Beano, Tyler James, Kris Kasanova, Cocoa Sarai and A. Lewins (all which had full bands). Out of all the performers i was most impressed with Cocoa Sarai. Not only did she pack that place out, but she bought a bangin show! Her performance, stage presence, crowd interaction and fearlessness really impressed me. She even jumped in the crowd and then climbed on the bar! I learned that she has opened for Rick Ross at the Paradise Theater in NY and that she’s released a new single “Raining In My Room” via Vibe Vixen. I also really enjoyed Tyler James who is a pop act from Jersey (owww) and is super dope. He’s appeared on NBC 10 in Philly and NBC 6 in Miami.

Kris Kasanova is on his way to be a household name. A Red Hook Brooklyn Native he’s opened for MMG’s Pill and his album “War Paint” is available online now.
