Jay Z Brings Magna Carta Holy Grail Tour To Philly With Help From Meek Mill Posted on January 30, 2014January 31, 2014 By Mina SayWhat I can’t even begin to find the words to describe how amazing Jay Z’s show in Philly was last night. Jay’s catalog is so strong that all he really needs to himself, the music and his fans. There was no opening act and the only featured guest was Meek Mill. With Timbaland on the set all night doing what he does, Jay ran through classics ranging from Reasonable Doubt to songs off his more recent Magna Carta Holy Grail album. Timbaland had a dope interlude where he played Aaliyah, Missy and new Beyonce songs. The energy in the building was so amazing and I don’t know if the free Dusse that had me feeling overly happy, but it seemed like Jay felt the same thing we all were feeling because he himself commented on the energy the crowd was giving him. I’ve seen Jay in concert many times before (by himself and with others), but for some reason i felt like last night was different. Maybe it was because i was on the floor in back by the soundboard, elevated over the floor crowd and i could really take in the whole scene. Check out some of my video and pics below. Performances
