Event: Mina SayWhat Hosts McDonald’s All American Press Conference Posted on March 19, 2015April 22, 2015 By Mina SayWhat On Monday, March 23, McDonald’s® Owner/Operators of the Greater Philadelphia Region, Inc. honored Malachi Richardson of Trenton Catholic Academy for his selection to the 38th Annual McDonald’s All American Games®. As a McDonald’s “Mover And Shaker,” Mina SayWhat hosted/moderated the press conference and a knockout game with Malachi and other students from TCA. Malachi Richardson was selected from thousands of high school basketball players across the country to fill one of 24 slots on the 2015 team, and now ranks with an impressive list of players who have donned the McDonald’s All American jersey, including Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, & Carmelo Anthony. Next fall, Richardson will be playing at Syracuse University – Mina’s alma matter! #GoOrange As part of this recognition ceremony, local elementary students asked Richardson a series of fun and entertaining questions. From the press conference we learned that Malachi loves the Lakers and is a Kobe fan. He loves chicken mc nuggets and plans on majoring in either sports management or communications at Syracuse University. The event also included donations to benefit Trenton Catholic Academy’s athletic program and the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey. Of course Malachi won the game of knockout, but his classmate Amy gave him a run for his money.
