Rick Ross stopped by Power 99 to talk to Mina SayWhat and the Rise N Grind Morning Show and during their conversation Mina Asked Ross to elaborate on his ghostwriting claims. Ross explained,
“Me in my earlier years. That’s what I did. That’s how I got on was ghostwrite for artists. That’s how I built a lot of these relationships from east to west coast…As an artist and a writer, the relationships are more important than the credit. When you do write for someone that you really care about or cool with, you have a whole other publishing set up for that.”
When Mina asked if he’s writing for his MMG gang, Rick said, “For you to be signed to MMG, you have to be a purist. I’m not looking for artists that can’t come with a certain amount of creativity.” He is currently not writing for anyone. Watch the clip and the full interview below.
