Def Jam announced a 30th anniversary show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on October 16, with headliners 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, DMX, Onyx, Ashanti, Ja Rule, Foxy Brown, Method Man, Redman, Fabolous, Foxy Brown, Jhene Aiko, Warren G, EMPD and Jeremih. It was surprising to not see LL Cool J or Beastie Boys on the bill since they were Def Jams original signees. When LL Cool J called Mina SayWhat on Power 99 to promote is G.O.A.T. 2, she had to ask him about his feelings on being excluded from this celebration. Listen below.
