News: Jay-Z Announces 2 Day Music Festival In Philly (Photos/Interviews) Posted on May 15, 2012May 15, 2012 By Mina SayWhat I attended Jay-Z’s conference at the Art Museum in Downtown Philly yesterday where Jigga Man announced that he will he headlining and “curating” a 2-day music festival in Fairmount Park in Philly over the Labor Day weekend (Sept. 1 & 2). Over the two days 30 acts will be performing (rumors are that Rick Ross’ MMG is already on the bill) that represent all kinds of music (hip hop, r&b, dance, latin, rock, etc). Live Nation will produce the event and Budweiser is backing the event. Pre-sale for the $99 tickets start on Budweiser’s facebook page on Tuesday, May 22nd. The artist line up will be announced on May 21st and tickets go on sale the next day. Some of the proceeds are going to United Way.
