Power 99 FM announced today that Mina SayWhat will join its morning show, weekdays from 6-10:00 a.m. beginning Wednesday, April 18. In addition to her on-air duties, Mina will serve as Social Networks Manager for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Philadelphia’s Power 99, WDAS-FMand WDAS-AM.
Mina was raised by a single mother in a poor neighborhood in Union City, New Jersey. She received a full scholarship to the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University, where she began her radio career. Known as “Mina Mean,” she spent four years on WJPZ 89.1 Syracuse, one of the top college radio stations in the country. Following graduation she worked at SIRIUS Satellite Radio and quickly moved up from Music Director, Social Media Coordinator to Program Director for three different stations. “Mina SayWhat” landed her own show, The Warm Up on SiriusXM The Heat, and has been featured in countless blogs and magazines.
