Elle Varner LIVE at Sobs NYC Posted on November 17, 2011March 25, 2014 By Mina SayWhat I find a deep joy in finding good new music and sharing it with people. This passion has drove my career to doing just that on the radio. Elle Varner is an example of how i exercise my passions. From the company that discovered Alicia Keys (MBK), Elle is a new R&B artist under them and RCA. I supported her song “Only Wanna Give It To You” very early because i loved it’s old meets new feel. Played it on my show and eventually on the channel before most knew who this talented artist was. I even did her first radio interview and now the world is starting to see who Elle Varner is. You might have seen her on 106 n park, the BET Awards, Black Girls Rock and Elle, but I recently went to SOBS in NYC to see Elle perform live (with New Artist CJ Hilton opening for her). I was so blow away by the ranges in her voice, her confidence, attitude and realness on the stage performing cuts off her upcoming album “Perfectly Imperfect.” Naturally i documented it all. Elle has come a long way since we first met and she’s only begun. I wanna see Elle do good!
