Event: Mina SayWhat Plays During Sixers Game Halftime For PAL Night Posted on February 20, 2015 By Mina SayWhat The Philadelphia Police Athletic League holds PAL Night a couple days a year to raise awareness for their non profit cooperation that has 18 centers across Philadelphia serving thousands of kids. Each center is supervised by Philadelphia Police Officers who are assigned full-time to direct activities and oversee the young people. Programs include sport, educational and cultural opportunities. Mina SayWhat has previously played in their media game on the Phillies field at the Citizens Bank Park to help raise awareness. On February 25th Mina, alongside 14 other media members, played kids from the PAL centers during the Philadelphia 76ers halftime show in the game vs the Pacers. Media members consisted of on camera personalities from Fox 29, NBC, 6abc, CBS, Sports Stations and Mina SayWhat – being the only representation from any of the radio stations playing current music in Philadelphia.
