Performance: Meek Mill Performs For First Time Since House Arrest At Beyonce Show In Philly Posted on June 6, 2016 By Mina SayWhat Yesterday Beyonce brought her Formation World Tour to Philly. Severe weather was in the forecast but Lincoln Financial Field confirmed that the show would go on- rain or shine. Despite the rain, thousands of fans flocked to the stadium and were lined up early for the show. Other shows in New York and New Jersey were cancelled, but like a true champ Beyonce had no plans of cancelling her show. It did rain, but before the opening act. DJ Khaled opened for Queen Bey and bought out Yo Gotti, Freeway, the Young Gunnaz, Meek Mill and Rick Ross. This was Meek Mill’s first performance since being on house arrest. He got the okay from the judge to perform. Jay Z and Nicki Minaj were backstage but did not perform. Meek and Nicki were also seen at the Roots Picnic. Beyonce hit the stage and dazzled as always. She always finds way to push the boundaries and package her material in new ways. Her stage goes from fire to water. A part of her stage actually turns into a pool and fills with water. Beyonce and her dancers danced through the water with ease. If you missed the show you can still get your tickets for her second Philly show on 9/29.
